Pushups for Charity!

Members:

You are invited to our inaugural PUSHUPS FOR CHARITY event. Our goals are to fundraise for the Assaulted Women's Helpline (AWHL) and to increase awareness about women's abuse.

How to get involved?

Join us Tuesday, August 30th at 6:00 p.m. at Christine's Fitness and Personal Training. This event takes place at both Christine's Fitness locations (912 Yonge Street and 457 Richmond Street West). The contest is open to all: members and non-members, ladies and gentlemen. You are welcome to bring your friends and family members.

Contestants will be divided into 4 divisions: Women under 40 (Division A), Men under 40 (Division B), Women over 40 (Division C) and Men over 40 (Division D).

Each division winner will receive a grand prize: One Year Membership at Christine's Fitness and Personal Training valued at $1,400. All participants will receive a prize: Two Weeks Boot Camp Training valued at $149. *All prizes are transferable.

To register simply drop by one of our two locations, either before August 30th or on the event date. There is a $10 registration fee with all proceeds going to Assaulted Women's Helpline.

The Helpline receives over 49,000 calls annually from women who are abused or have experienced abuse. This abuse takes many forms: yelling, abusive language, deliberate deprivation of care, isolation, forced sex, hitting, torture and more. AWHL responds to the needs of victims by providing them with crisis counselling, emotional support and safety planning. They also help by providing referrals to shelters, rape crisis centres, legal services, therapists and support groups. The Helpline provides these services in up to 154 languages to meet the needs of the unique cultural landscape of Toronto.

The Helpline is there so female victims of abuse know that they are not alone and that they are not to blame. It is a woman's human right to live free from abuse. The AWHL depends on your kind help to carry out its mission. Please support us in this great cause.

Too Much Skin Showing

Hello Everybody!
On Monday I asked one of the members if she had a good weekend. She said "yes but I had too much skin showing,
you know, arms and legs, looking kind of soft and mushy."
So on Monday night I sat up figuring out a program for that, as well as something that would flatten the belly. That's what most people want right now.
After I went through about 6 sheets of paper, I realized we already have the program. The same exercises that I was writing down are in Christine's No BS Group Training.
So if your arms, legs and belly are not quite right, why not try No BS for a week, I think you will find it helps right away.
We only take 10 in each group, so call Linda or I to reserve your spot. 416- 969- 9912.
Best of health,

Christine.

PS: I forgot to mention there is no charge.
